Located in the fleshy valley between the thumb and the index finger, some practitioners consider this the most important pressure point on the body. It also goes by the name Joining the Valley and is considered the 'command point' for your head and face. This spot is to be avoided
during pregnancy, particularly the first three months.

Hoku is located at point # 4 along the Large Intestine meridian, and has also been called
Union Valley. In
Hawaii, the word hoku means 'star', and it's considered a prime point for promoting overall well-being.
